Optential is a Human Resources and Industrial Psychology Consultancy that develops tailor-made services to help OPTIMISE the POTENTIAL of organisations and their people. 

We believe that all organisations are unique and cannot work with a one-size-fits-all approach. Our approach is to analyse your organisation’s needs and how it currently operates to develop a solution aligned with those needs.

Dr. Cindy Rautenbach established Optential  in 2020 after taking a leap of faith and following her desire to make sure that all businesses, including the smallest ones that cannot afford to hire an experienced HR Practitioner, have access to the support and guidance they need to advance their businesses.

The name Optential, which combines the words optimise and potential, perfectly captures the company’s sole goal: to maximize the potential of individuals and organisations. We are passionate about assisting and supporting individuals, groups, and organisations to reach their full potential so that they can flourish. We have assisted dozens of businesses in achieving this goal and we want to continue doing so in the future.

Meet the Team

We are a team of HR Professionals and Industrial Psychologists with more than 25 years of experience across various HR Practices including Learning and Development, Organisational Wellness, Talent Management, and Recruitment. Our experience stretches across small, medium, and large organisations.

Our vast range of experience has given us the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels in various organisations with the benefit of seeing the big picture with managing detail and understanding that small actions affect the big picture.

Dr Cindy Rautenbach

Cindy has obtained her BCom in Behaviour Science Undergraduate Degree, BCom Industrial Psychology Honours, Masters Industrial Psychology, and PhD Industrial Psychology at the North West University. She has also obtained her Post Graduate Diploma in Management and Leadership at GIBS Business School

Nicole Martin has a National Diploma in Human Resources Management and withholds a certificate in Social Auxiliary work.

Robina is a Human Resource Administration Consultant. She has completed her Honours degree in industrial psychology and is currently completing her Master’s degree in Industrial Psychology. She has experience in various IOP (Industrial and Organisational Psychology) areas such as Organisational Development and HR Consulting.
