An amazing company that unfortunately lost its owner. The company needed a culture of unity and trust to move forward positively. 

CASE

We identified that the company had no purpose statement or company values that governed employees’ behaviour and drove a united culture.

We hosted various sessions with management and the employees to explore the company’s key values to ensure that everyone works towards the same goal.

IMPACT

An amazing journey where we identified a clear purpose statement with values and behaviours. We visually demonstrated the company’s new purpose statement through banners, emails, posters, etc. to create awareness. We also trained the staff to make sure everyone knew exactly what the values meant and how to behave accordingly. We further embed the values by implementing a Reward and Recognition program where employees were rewarded for living out the company values.

The company is expanding and had to ensure they had HR processes and practices in place to support the company’s growth.

CASE

We identified key projects that would enable the company to become an employer of choice where employees felt valued. One of the projects was to develop an in-house job grading system and also do salary banding. Through this process, we were able to align company roles and restructure the company’s remuneration strategy to be aligned with its growth. 

IMPACT

The result was a standardized Job Evaluation System and grading system to ensure employees are remunerated fairly in a way that aligns with the market.

The company’s rapid growth was overwhelming the two owners, who needed more structure to ensure they could step back and focus on the business’s growth rather than its day-to-day operations.

CASE

We drew up an organisational chart of every employee and management job to improve the company’s structure. Additionally, we matched the organisational structure with the business’s strategy. Each position had a distinct job scope that included Key Focus Areas (KFAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). We then conducted psychometric and competency assessments on each employee to determine their fit for the defined role. Where there were gaps, an Individual Development Plan was created to ensure that employees received the necessary support and development to become fit for purpose.

The result was an organisational structure aligned with the company’s strategy and better job clarity on expectations and KPIs for each role.
